Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and MERAF Digital Solutions (“we”, “us”, “our”), which sells QRSVP Pro and the QRSVP add-ons (the “Products”) through this website (the “Store”). By placing an order or creating an account, you accept these Terms together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Refund Policy and Data Processing Agreement, which form part of them. If you accept them for a company or another organisation, you confirm that you may bind it, and “you” means that organisation.

1. The Products

QRSVP is a free WordPress plugin for guest lists and door check-in. QRSVP Pro adds more events at once, the event themes and more websites, in three plans — Pro, Venue and Unlimited. Each add-on adds one feature to QRSVP and needs only the free plugin.

The Products are WordPress plugins that you install and run on your own website, which must meet the requirements shown on each product’s page, such as the versions of WordPress, PHP and Elementor.

QRSVP is a tool. It does not give legal, tax or event-safety advice. You decide how you run your events and how you deal with your guests.

2. Who may buy

You must be at least 18 years old. You may not buy where the law forbids it, or if you are subject to sanctions that prohibit dealing with us.

3. Your account and licence keys

• Give accurate information when you order, and keep it up to date under My account.
• Keep your licence keys confidential. A key is for your own websites, up to the number your plan includes; you can move it from one website to another.
• Tell us at once if you think a key has been used without your permission; we can replace it.

4. Prices, payment and renewals

Prices are shown in US dollars on the product pages and do not include taxes unless it says so. You are responsible for the taxes, duties and payment or bank charges that apply to your payment, except taxes on our income.

QRSVP Pro is a subscription: it renews automatically every month or every year, as you chose, until you cancel it. An add-on is either a subscription, which renews the same way, or a one-time purchase whose licence does not expire (“Lifetime”), with updates and support for as long as we offer that add-on.

You pay at checkout through the payment providers we offer, such as PayPal or Cryptomus. They handle your card, account or wallet details; we never see or store them.

If a renewal payment fails, the payment provider may try again. If it is still not paid, your subscription ends at the end of the period you have paid for.

We may change prices for future periods. A change never applies to a period you have already paid for, and we will tell you before it applies to your renewals.

5. Cancellation, plan changes and refunds

You can cancel a subscription at any time under My account → Subscriptions. It stays active until the end of the period you have paid for and is not renewed.

To change plans, cancel your subscription and buy the new plan. Plan changes are not prorated.

Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy, including the 30-day money-back guarantee on your first payment.

6. When a licence ends

When a QRSVP Pro licence ends, nothing that is running stops: the door, tickets, guest lists, registrations and your active events keep working, and pages keep their theme. Activating more events than the free plugin allows, and choosing a theme, need an active licence again.

When an add-on’s licence ends, its feature stops after a short grace period (the WhatsApp button, for example, goes away); its settings stay, ready for a renewal.

Updates and support need an active licence.

7. Your events and your guests’ data

QRSVP runs on your website. You are responsible for your events, for what you publish about them, and for how you collect and use your guests’ personal data — including a privacy notice, any consent you need, and keeping the data safe. QRSVP gives you starting texts for an event privacy notice, terms, a photo and media consent and a cancellation policy: adapt them to your event.

Your guests’ data stays on your website; we do not receive it. If you share some of it with us, for example for support, our Data Processing Agreement applies.

Money taken at your door, and your dealings with your guests, are between you and them.

8. Acceptable use

You may not:

• share, sell or publish your licence keys, or use them on more websites than your plan includes;
• attack, probe or overload the Store or our licensing service, or try to get licence keys or access that are not yours;
• use the Products to break the law, including data protection, anti-spam and consumer laws;
• use our names or logos in a way that suggests we endorse you.

9. Software licence and intellectual property

QRSVP, QRSVP Pro and the add-ons are free software, licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later (GPL). The GPL gives you its freedoms for the code you receive. Your purchase gives you, while your licence is active, a licence key for the number of websites in your plan, updates, support, and the features that need an active licence.

The names QRSVP and MERAF, our logos, this website and its content belong to us or our licensors. The GPL does not give you a right to use them.

10. Updates and support

While your licence is active, you can download the latest version of your Products under My account → Downloads, and get support by email at support@merafsolutions.com. We answer as soon as we can, Venue and Unlimited plans first, but we do not guarantee a response time.

11. Third-party services and trademarks

QRSVP works with WordPress and Elementor; the Store uses WooCommerce and payment providers such as PayPal and Cryptomus; an add-on may connect to a service such as WhatsApp. They are provided by third parties under their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability, changes or acts.

WordPress, Elementor, WooCommerce, PayPal, WhatsApp and other names are trademarks of their owners. Mentioning them does not mean that they endorse us.

12. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Store and our licensing service available and secure, but we do not guarantee that they will always be available or free of errors. QRSVP Pro and the add-ons are designed to keep working on your website when our licensing service cannot be reached. We may improve and change the Products; if we remove a major feature of a paid plan, we will tell you in advance.

13. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Products and the Store are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Products will be uninterrupted or free of errors, or that they will meet your requirements. Keep your own backups of your website.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill or data, even if we were told they were possible;
• we are not liable for how your events go, for claims made against you by your guests or other third parties, or for money taken at your door;
• our total liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Products, the Store or these Terms is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim;
• any claim against us must be brought within one year after the cause of action arose.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, such as liability for fraud, gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or the rights you have as a consumer.

15. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify and hold harmless MERAF Digital Solutions, its officers, employees and providers against claims, damages, losses, fines and costs, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your events, your website, your dealings with your guests, or your breach of these Terms or of the law.

16. Events beyond our control

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, epidemics, war, acts of government, power or internet failures, attacks, or failures of third-party providers.

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Before going to court, contact us and give us 30 days to try to resolve the matter in good faith. Any dispute that is not resolved this way will be handled exclusively by the competent courts of the city in the Philippines where MERAF Digital Solutions has its principal office, unless the law gives you a right to go to another court.

18. General

• These Terms and the policies they refer to are the entire agreement between you and us about the Products and the Store.
• If a provision is found invalid, the rest of the Terms remain in force. Not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it.
• You may not transfer your account, your licences or these Terms without our written consent. We may transfer them as part of a reorganisation, merger or sale of our business, and will tell you.
• We send notices to the email address of your account or your order. You agree that electronic communications satisfy any requirement for written form.

19. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The Terms in force when you order apply to that order. We will tell you about significant changes by email before they apply to your renewals; if you do not agree, cancel your subscription before they apply.
